Monica stood her ground, glaring as it came closer. She had stopped muttering when Sabrina had whacked her, but she knew she had to stay, if it was who (or what) she thought it was...she reached into her pocket and pulled out a small, round, smooth blue stone, holding it tightlly in the palm of her left had...She slowly began to back towards the part of the forest Sabrina had dissappeared into...

Monica let out a sigh of relief. "I really need to find my glasses..." she muttered, stuffing her wand in one pocket and the stone in the other. "Sabrina, you can come out now, it's just an owl..." she called.

Monica looked at the owl. She felt like it was trying to speak to her. "What is it?" she said, feeling that it had something urgent to say. Then she noticed a curled piece of parchment tied to its leg. It patiently held its leg out as she untied it, then ruffled its feathers and soared away as she opened the parchment and began to read. Monica's eyes went wide. She ran into the forest the way Sabrina had come. "Sabrina, there's something you need to know!" she called, looking everywhere for the girl. She found Sabrina catching her breath on a log and stumbled over to her. "Sabrina, take a look at this!" she said, shoving the parchment towards her.

matt walked down from the castle and decided to sit under a tree and start some home work he took out his quill and some ink and started to write

after about 5 minutes or so he was done, so he packed up his stuff and walked back to the castle but on his way up he saw a gryffindor girl with a couple of other girls and he said ''hi'' as he walked past them

[glow=blue,2,300]OOC and another thing Matt darling, you don't just pop out of the lake, walk over to the forest, enter and walk deep into the center of it and voila you've found me! I mean come on, be realistic here, it's not that easy to find people like that.
And: please remember to say: OOC when typing in out of character form
BIC: *Sabrina shook her head at Monnie's question. She then crumpled the letter tightly into a ball in her left hand, she opened her hand as she lifted her wand and placed the tip on the paper.*
"Incendio"
*The tip of her wand ignited the letter on fire and threw it to the ground. She sat and watched it burn until it was in ashes, the fire dimmed and went out.*[/glow]

Monica sighed, realizing she woudn't be able to get anything else out of Sabrina. She watched the letter burn, then turned back to her. "Let's go," she said, walking a few paces back towards the castle and waiting to see if Sabrina would follow.

Monica sighed again, seeing Sabrina's bitterness. "Well...I'll be in the library if you need me. Come any time you like..." She trailed off and headed back towards the castle, leaving Sabrina alone until she got over the bitterness for however long she would.
