"Better..." Brayden felt maybe he shouldn't be here, yet he couldn't make himself leave.... He touched his necklace that was in Allie's letter, how couldn't he guess? Brayden let's himself laugh before floating around.. "What's on your mind?"

David had gone for a run around the lake as he often did when he was dealing with strong emotions. He stopped short when he came across two swimmers. He recognized Riley immediatley and called out to her with a wave. "Hey Riley." But who was that with her, it wasn't "Professor Valder?" He put his hands on his hips as he quickly caught his breath. What in the name of merlin was going on out here?
(ooc: sorry to interupt but I figured something had to happen or brayden would seem paranoid.))

David let out a barking laugh. "Sure is something to see you out here too. With a student." His own eyes narrowed as he watched Brayden's widen. He walked closer to the shore. "So, what's going on you two." He smiled but it might have seemed more like baring his teeth.

It was like she couldn't help it, she wanted to be near him...and he liked her too. Why couldn't this be easier?...Why was she foolish enough to let herself fall for him? Though, it hadn't been hard, Brayden was easy to like, he was just so sweet and charming...She sighed, holding back tears. Why did she keep doing this to him, how could he not hate her...[/glow]

Brayden places his arm around Riley, "It's alright, I wanted to come." He said this before David intrupted.. Now David was accusing him of something, "We are just two friends, David." Brayden climbs out of the water, "Nothing more, you act like what i am doing is wrong. I was a seventh year when you guys first came to Hogwarts, if you don't remember. I could have been friends with people younger.." He taps his wand on his trunks, changing them back into his clothes.

David nodded "Alright then, I'm not making any judgment. As you were. He gave a mock salute and turned away from the pair. He shot a confused lokk at Riley before finishing his run. SHe hadn't struck his as that type.

Brayden held out his hand to help Riley out of the water, "Come on, it's time to go back inside. We can't risk anymore today.. We could sit out here if you would ilke." He smiles at her.

Riley had never been looked at like this before, it wasn't like she liked Brayden because he was a teacher...she had liked him before he was too...Slowly tears began to form in the corners of her eyes and fall onto her slightly red cheeks...She had never felt so low...she barely heard Brayden...[/glow]

Brayden notices a few tears on Riley's face, "Come on Doll, get out." He wanted to hug her, it was his fault she was crying and it made him feel worse than he did already. "Please take my hand." He holds it out more.
