She leaned forward again, lost control for a moment, then gained it back. She took a deep breath and slowed, then moved forward again.

Evey didn't look back this time for fear of almost falling to her death again. She nodded and adjusted her weight until she was flying straighter.

Evey glanced at him desperatly, then wiped her face clean of emotion and attempted turning. She didn't do too terribly.

Evey nodded one jerky nod and got back onto the broom. She scraped up every bit of Gryffindor courage she had in her and took off. This time she didn't almost kill herself.

She didn't want to go slowly. She wanted to speed and prove that she could, in fact, fly like the rest of bloody Gryffindors. Evey sighed in frusteration and moved forward.
