[glow=blue,2,300]*Sabrina turned to Monnie. She nodded and pulled her wand from an inside pocket in her robe. It was a 10" holly wand with a unicorn hair core. She smirked as she walked to the center of the room.*

Monica entered, getting a tighter grip on her 8 3/4", redwood, pheonix feather wand. She walked slowly out to the center of the room to continue the drama, then had to bite her lip to keep from cracking up for how much it reminded her of one of her favorite TV shows (she grew up in a Muggle neiborhood). She shook her head to clear the images from her mind, put on her game face, then bowed to Sabrina, never taking her eyes off of her. They swung their arms into the proper positions...
"One, two..." Monica began the counting.

"Three."
*Sabrina raised her eyebrows as she waited, allowing Monnie to make the first move. Sabrina was ready to duel.*[/glow]

Monica also waited for Sabrina to make the first move. When she realized that this was going nowhere, she decided to get it over with. She wanted to test Sabrina out, so she started with a weak charm. "Rictusempra!" she shouted, and a jet of light shot out of her wand at Sabrina.
OOC: Don't make Sabrina perfect, make her get hurt a little...I'll do the same with Monica...it's annoying when everyone dodges everyone's attacks and no one ever gets hurt...gets BORING trust me...and don't write the other person getting hit and then have you dodge everything...that gets even MORE annoying...if its possible...

And i protegoed ur last spell, which makes it bounce off and back toward you so unless you block it it should hit you am i right?[/glow]

IC: Monica stood there, watching the beam come towards her until it was right in front of her face, when she quickly stepped aside. It hit the wall and caused it to shake a little bit.
ca could see that this was going to be a good apponent. She still decided to save some of her heavy artilary for later. Gotta find her weakness... she thought, probing around for a spell to use. She reached into her pocket and felt a big, hard stone that she had picked up off the ground. This could be useful... she thought. "Mobilarus!" she said, making the rock mobile and placing it on a shelf behind Sabrina. "Now let's see what you got," she said. She was already sick of making all the moves.

"Is that all you got? Impertrurbable!" Sabrina's spell just glanced off the barrier. "I think it's time to get this party started...Accio rock!" The rock on the shelf behind Monica flew towards Sabrina, coming within an inch of the back of her head.
