Bloodline: Pureblood, mom French (Marya Jem) and dad English (Johnathan Lanches).
Where are you from: Massachusetts
A bit of history: Father was in for 1 year before he came to Hogwarts and was sorted into Gryffindor. Her mother went to Beauxbatons for 3 years (but left because she hated it) then transferred to Hogwarts for the remaining 4 years, as a Ravenclaw. Her father was an auror, but he died the day Monica was born, and her mother is a Bio Potions Master (basically the equivalent of a Bio-Chemist, makes potions for the American Ministry division similar to the Food and Drug Administration). She has an older brother and an older sister (twins, 16 years older than her). Her brother (Brian) is the lead singer in a rock band, and her sister (Wednesday) lives in Canada with her husband and 2 children, and sometimes goes to Spain and France as an embassador.
Appearance: Her eyes are a perfect mix of hazel and green, and they shine with her emotions. They're framed by long, thick, naturally dark eyelashes that give them a mysterious look. Her nose is rather long, and her eyebrows thick, but her face still gives off a look of grace, noblety, and mystery. She has thick, dark pink lips that close over perfectly straight and white teeth, straightened by years of orthodontistery (which was another reason she was mad at her mom when she found out she was a witch). Though her head is extremely round, her waist-length, thick, wavy, color-rich, chestnut-brown hair falls in such a way that her face is thought to be a narrow oval, adding to the look. She has pale skin, but her cheeks are often touched with a bit of pink. She's 5'7", with long arms ending in hands with long, tapered fingers, and long, thin legs. She's very thin, and often looks like a snake who's swallowed an egg just after she's eaten a large meal (though it goes away after a few hours). Her feet are the worst part of her body. They are rather large, with big bunions, and often dirty from walking barefoot.
Personality: Brave (though doesn't admit it), friendly, nice (sometimes), but has a quick temper. Is either extremely hyper or extremely tired (both can be bad). Sometimes has deep times of depression, but never shows it. Is quite a prankster at some times and will go to many lengths to have fun. Very smart but lacks common sense at most times. Extremely clumsy and injures herself often (though nothing major, and she never broke a bone in her entire body *knocks on wood*).
What do you like/love: Purple, dragons, chocolate, Quidditch, volleyball, piano, guitar, listening to music, singing, writing songs, writing stories, meeting new people, making friends, climbing trees, the elements, swimming, ice cream, pizza, cheese, bread, reading, warmth, water, the word 'potato', hanging around, a calm spot to relax
What do you dislike/hate: Beef, most ditzy girls, preppy people, people who pretend they are something they're not, girls who put on too much makeup, makeup, people who hate the world for no reason, people who are too happy all the time, people who are mean to her for no reason, when people don't listen to her
What do you want in life or what is your goal at Hogwarts: To get good grades, become an Auror, be a Chaser on her Quidditch team, and to (maybe) meet a somewhat decent boy to have as a boyfriend.
Anything else: Monica is a Metamorphmagus and she's good at Quidditch.
