"Don't worry David, I won't cause any harm to Gryffindors.." Allie leaned in closer.. "You could easily stop me, remember." She smirked lightly "Key word there David, yet." She places her notebook in her bag, "Do you think I have given up?"

[glow=green,2,300]William had been rather quiet he had been watching Riley and had been unaware of what they were talking about until David had said something about harm to Gryffindors. "Hey now I would never do harm to a creature as lovely as she," he sat in front of Riley across the table..."to do so would be a sin..." He said smiling at her. "I was only behind, Allie was it? To find out who she was...your friend here is quite beautiful you know...I'm surprised you haven't snatched her up for yourself." he said to David.[/glow]

[glow=red,2,300]Riley couldn't help but smile, he was sort of...charming. Sure he was a little forward but it was in an attractive so she didn't mind. "Why thank you, I'm glad someone appreciates my beauty..." she said with a quick glare at David. [/glow]

Raven walked in. "Oh have I come in at a bad time." she said. She gave them a nervous smile. She fiddled with her Pentagram.

"No Raven, not a bad time. William was just hitting on Riley and it was rather gross." Allie doesn't look away from David. "Am I right David?"

David crossed his arms as William flirted with Riley "Yes, so very right." He flipped open a book on quidditch plays and did his best to look like he didn't care.

Allie leaned over David, "What's wrong, jealous?" Allie giggled.

"no" David coughed "not at all" it was partly true. He wasn't as jealous as he would be had it been Gwen in Riley's place. Even though he couldn't have her at least no one else could either. At least he had kissed her once. He stared back at Allie "Not nearly as jealous as you are of Gwenllian."

Allie's eyes flashed read with angry, "Oh you just have to do that to me don't you?" Allie looks closely at him, why does he like getting her worked up.

David took a piece of wrinkled parchment out of his pocket and layed it on the table with an unreadable expression on his face. It was the letter she had slipped him the other night. "I only said what was true and it is true isn't it?" He looked at her with a challenge in his eyes.

She sits slowly down in front of him, picking up her letter. Allie thought he would have thrown it away by now, "Jealous or not David.. at least I care not to show it." She places a caring hand on his face, "Why do you try so hard to not like me David?" This time she didn't take her hand away.

David leaned back, away from her hands. "Trust me Allie, it doesn't take much effort." David felt a pang in his chest. That was a cheap shot. "I'm sorry, I just don't know if I feel as strongly for you as you do for me. And it's a lot of pressure you know." He thought back to the many times Allie had told him she wanted him because he wasn't immediately available. "I've never gone for things I got without asking for."

Allie placed her hand on her lap, "You take very rude shots, I thought that was the Slytherin thing to do." She looks at her letter, it took her all night to write that letter. It was deep and thoughtful, "I may want you because you are dangerous, but that's not the only reason." Part of her was regretting letter, "This letter means nothing to you does it?"

Allie held the paper up, "Are you telling me that I'm not asking? What do you think this is?" Allie throws the letter down in a huff, she waited for another cheap shot to her pride.
