A bit of history: Daphne Marie Ridgewood was born on October 16 in her families home in Ottery St. Catchpole. Her mother, Gwen, attended Hogwarts when she was younger and was placed into the Ravenclaw by the sorting hat. Gwen met Daphne's father in her seventh year at Hogwarts. Gwen was studying at a muggle library when she asked Daniel, a librarian's assistant at the time, for help. They dated and eventually got married and had Daphne. Gwen's parent's were so appalled that their daughter a pure witch would marry a muggle that they cut her out of the family completely. Gwen rarely speaks of them and Daphne wants to know about them but does not ask for it is a touchy subject for both her parents.
Appearance: Daphne has extravegant emerald green eyes she got from her mother. She is about average sized and is lightly tanned with midlength brown hair.
Personality: Daphne is quiet but speaks her mind openly. She is an avid book reader,her father is after all a librarian, and may come across sometimes as a bit of a nerd.
What do you like/love?: Books of course, History especially pure blood history because she is searching for her roots and charms.
What do you dislike/hate?: Annoying people, gossipers and divination she would prefer the future to be a surprise.
What do you want in life or what is your goal here at Hogwarts?: Increase knowledge in the magical arts and find out about her mother's side of the family.
