Gwen trudged over to where Allie was sitting overlooking the lake. "Hey Allie, what's going on." she smirked and sat beside her friend and housemate. She could feel moisture from the wet grass seeping through her robes, slightly uncomfortable but it was of no importance, Allie had said she needed to talk to her so Gwen gave her full attention.

Allie looked over at her housemate, black eyed and red faced. Allie could hardly sleep and eating was out of the question. "I know you like David, and I was stupid to think I even had a chance. He is your's if you want him, just make sure I get my stone back."

I mean I do, I have always liked, but I can't, I shouldn't really you need him to help you and if you feel he can't help you if he does not care for you that way than no I won't do that to you." Gwen shook her head and dug her hands into the grass, dirt forming black half-moond under her nails. "and regardless of that I can't have my own life and David, I would lose my inheritance, my fortune, my title.My family would hate me. AS much as I want someone to care for me that way it's something I can't have." Gwen choked on one of the sobs wracking her shoulders.

"I don't need him to take care of me Gwen, Brayden will find another potion that can help. He always does. You need David, who cares what your family says or thinks. Your family isn't going to die because you fell for a Gryffindor." Allie grabbed her friend's shoulder, "Take him, he cares for you. He would risk everything for you, you should do the same. Take my fortune and my title. My family is going to die, Brayden will be the only one left with me. Raven is taking my father's side, it will kill her. I will live my life as a muggle and you can take that." Allie thought of this plan while lying awake in Hogsmeade. "You can take my title, power and money. Brayden will find a spell to give you that. Gwen, you don't have to let your family control you, get my stone from David and I will give you everything that belongs to me."

"I don't want to need anyone." she breathed and struggled to stand straight."I apprecite the offer Allie, but above all I want to be my own person, which means I have to accept the responsabilities at my home. There are people who will one day rely on meand I won't put them in danger for myself." Gwen smiled "maybe we should both just try and forget about that boy." Gwen started to walk back to the castle "But thanks Allie, now deal with your sister I think she needs you more than I do."
