Allie is absent-mindingly flipping through a book, hardly ready the words that are in front of her. She gave David a note to read after she got back from Hogsmeade, but yet she still hasn't talk to him or even seen him for that matter. Did I do something wrong? she couldn't stop herself from thinking that maybe that letter was a mistake. Allie buried herself in homework, but she already finished. Now the books she just couldn't get into. She wanted more than anything to let her mind be empty, but she knew she was asking for a lot. Stopping on one page, Allie fittles with her necklace that her mother gave her. It was three charms: a snake, a raven and a mix of the two. She had been wearing it since she got back from hogsmeade and was happy to never take it off again. Why would David not talk to me? That letter wasn't bad at all and I'm being punished by my father and him at the same time! Allie sighs and lays her head down in frustration.

She looked as though something was bothering her severely, and since they were the only Slytherin in the library at this time it was his duty to help. Allie mummbles into the book, trying to explain her bad mood but she knew Will wouldn't understand. She picks up her head slightly to look at him, "Do I look alright to you? Do you think the head girl should be laying face down in a book?" Allie wanted to punch David, but she waas taking it out on Will.

"You're beautiful, and the head girl is still human, she's allowed to cry same as the rest of us..." he didn't want her to think he was being nosy but he did want to help and make her feel better if he was able. Allie started to cry harder, "It's hard to care for someone now, because I normally never let any guy get to be and for some reason I let this one. He was so amazing. We talked for a bit but he liked someone else." Allie lays her hand in her hand. "For once I wish it was me."

"Allie...it's always difficult to let yourself like someone, it's allowing yourself to possibly be hurt, being completely vulnerable. Which is uncomfortable for most people...besides I think he was the only one who made it through your walls for a reason. Something has got to be there. you know?" He smiled softly "You never know what can happen, maybe he'll realize it's been you all along..." William could hear how corny he must sound but he didn't mind if it made Allie feel better. He was speaking the truth and if that made him sound corny so be it..."What guy are we talking about, cause he must be crazy not to want you..." Allie very pretty but he hoped she would know he wasn't hitting on her...[/glow]

Allie wipes her eyes with the handkerchief and laughs "Crazy, maybe.. for another girl. I feel for a Gryffindor. Can you believe, the Slytherin Princess falling for a Gryffindor? Full blooded Gryffindor." Allie runs her hand through her long hair, "David, David Leanders." Allie shakes her head when she finally said his name "I must be stupid, even my mother would be disappointed." She plays with her necklace.

"The Slytherin Princess falls for the Gryffindor Prince, I think it's sort of, sweet actually." he said with a small laugh. "You can't help who you like. I really like Riley and she's a bloody Gryffindor, my parents would be disappoint, but happy for me, I suppose. At least she's a pureblood...David seems like a nice guy though so...at least you made a good choice." Allie looks at William, "My father isn't like that, he killed a pure blood slytherin that I was dating just to show me that I'm to be... that type of person. I'm suppose to be heartless like him." Allie laughed as she thought of his words, "Slytherin Princess falls for the Gryffindor Price... that was cute.." Allie closes the book that she was once laying in. "Why can they just let someone love another."

"Well, your father may have to be left in the dark about your love interest then, wouldn't want him killing off David too." William grinned. "Ah, I'm cute." he joked. "That's why I am here now, crying I guess... I want David to be happy, Gwen makes him happy. Why does everyone find Gwen more beautiful than I am. It must be something with Blonde hair and fair skin." Allie looked at her long dark brown hair and fair skin. "Maybe I should dye my hair." Allie laughs. Her as a blonde.

Gwen needed a refrence book for a particularly complicated potion she was attempting so she had dashed into the library to grab it before she went to the common room. She walked in to hear Allie compare thier looks to William. "Don't be silly Allie, you're so pretty. I don't even compare. Don't give yourself a complex. Besides I don't know if blonde could handle Allie Matthews." Gwen laughed and started to search for the required text.

Gwen stopped what she was doing and looked seriously at William "You are quite right. We shouldn't have to change for anyone and I don't plan to." She resumed her search "and thank you." She had received and responded to a compliment without even remembering to blush. This ambitious thing was really paying off. She smiled to herself as she scanned shelves.

Allie fiddled with her hair a bit more befor finally getting the guts to say what she wanted, "Why you, Gwen? Why does every guy in this school seem to fall for you." Allie grabbed tightly onto her necklace that the charms went into her hand. "Oww!" Allie pulls her hand back and sees a trickle of blood.
