Allie shook her hand, "David you take it wrong, my words aren't being explained well enough. You are not the bad guy, Merlin sakes David! Just look at me, please. You are not the cause David, you helped me realize that I was wrong! If I continued on the path I was going, I would have been my father. Are you telling me I shouldn't save the world from another Voldemort? I should let myself become him because that's how it is going to happen." She walks around him to look in his eyes. "You may think I am foolish, but I don't think I am."

"I'm saying that your solution is the easy way out." He almost whispered "Let me help you realize that you're still wrong. Is that so hard?" He looked at her this time with a strange mix of exasperation and pity "Fools are never wise enough to see what they are, if they were they wouldn't be fools would they?" He turned away again. "Now go and do what you have already made up your mind to do, just don't expect anyone to cry over you. And if you don't mind drop the whole noble sacrifice thing. It's not very becoming."

Allie walks around him to face him again, "You are the one who said you don't want to help me, David. Please just understand why I'm doing this." She places a hand on his face, "I don't expect anyone to cry for me, noble has never been in my family past and I think the now it should be. Someone in my family needs to do something noble for once, I might as well be the one to do it." She smiles at him, "It's not the easy way out, David. The easy way out would have been just to leave and not say goodbye to anyone, but I thought it would be better and show that I actually could care by saying goodbye. Smile for what I'm going to do isn't stupid but the most powerful thing I could."

David backed away from her. What was it with that girl and touching him. "No, I said I would stop trying to help you because why shouldn't I give up if you are. Dying to escape your problems, your demons is never noble and it's always a cop out. Just leaving might have been easier bul less satisfying huh? You need to make sure everyone knows what a selfless act you're doing, you want to make sure you get a reaction, one last spotlight before you disapear. Well, cut the crap, If you want to go to the ministry fine, go, but I won't let you feel fuffiled by giving up."

Allie's hand falls to her side, "I'm not escaping anything David." She whispers, Allie wasn't feeling like she could understand why he wouldn't be happy for this. She would be out of his hair forever. "I'm not doing this for a spotlight, how could you think that?" She digs her nails so hard into her plam it was going to bleed, "Please David, can't you understand why? You are being rude why can't you just take my goodbye? You didn't have to make me feel like what I'm doing isn't going to be for the better. Future is not exactly what we all look forward to, some of us just look for now... and I have had what I needed to know that now I don't need to be here. You should be happy, Voldemort's terror will be gone for good."

"Just go." David resumed his pacing. He had nothing else to say to that girl.

Allie sighs, "Well goodbye David." She picks up a rose and holds it out to him. "I will miss you."

David doesn't stop to take the flower. Why should he. He refused to pity her or put her on a pedestal. She would have no luck convincing him otherwise just as he had no luck in convincing her to listen, not merely hear. So he kept walking and would conyinue until Allie left. Than there were some things he should explain to Gwen.

Allie dropped the flower and made her way to the Great hall, no look back at David.

David stopped in front of one of the white rose bushes and dropped to the ground almost as though he planned on doing push ups. He looked into Gwenllian's pale face. She had a white rose behind her ear, innocence, it suited her at least in this situation. "Imagine running into you here miss blondie." He crawled under the bush and lay down next to her. "So you heard everything huh." He sighed "Not exactly how I envisioned telling you but hey what happens happens. Sometimes girls hide under bushes and who am I to question their motives." He smiled.

Gwen stiffened as he lay close to her, what would she say if anyone found them now. She laughed nervously "Yes, us flower garden girls have dark and mysterious, you are simply to niaeve to handle such a terrible secret" She looked him steadily in the eye. "Yes, I heard...everything." She pulled the rose form her hair do you not think a daffodil would be more appropriate?" He knew what a white rose symbolized, just how fluent was he in flower language. Not that it would make a difference, no matter how perfect he was she couldn't have him but a girl can dream. Right?

David noticed her body tensing and he moved closer, she had listened to his private thoughts he figured he should be allowed to make hers little uncomfortable. "I know you did, but maybe thats not a bad thing, you should know whats going on." He picked up the discarded bloom, "Ouch, unrequited love. But also uncertainty so I can still convince you. He tapped the rose with his wand. Now it was a deep red amaranth.

She took the stem in her hand. "eternal love huh, because I shoved you that one time?" She leaned against him, it wouldn't make their situation look any different if someone saw them and she would enjoy what closeness they were allowed to have. "I'll match your amaranth and raise you..." the blossom shimmered into a morning glory.
((ooc: I kow what you mean, we seem to chase people away.))

David grinned triumphantly as Gwen leaned into him. She was warm and her hair smelled like vanilla and thistle. His grin faded when he saw the morning glory clutched in her thin fingers. "Love in vain. So you don't think we could ever happen. " He stared pleadingly into her beautiful green eyes. "ever?" he added wistfully. He leaned in to kiss her but stopped himself. He needed her to talk not slap him and run away.

"Never" she whispered before closing to short distance between their faces and kissing him with closed eyes. She ran her left hand through his dark hair and pulled him closer. The flower in her right hand completed it's last transformation. This time with a strip of parchment wound around two blooms. She pulled away and rolled out from underneath the rosebush. Gwen handed David the cream colored acacia and blue forget me not. Then stood and ran lithely out of the garden. Her aunt had told her it was always best to leave them wanting more.
((ooc: remember the plot from HaH...I think the new site would benefit from that, not to mention how much fun it'll be fer us...))
